Celebrated every spring, the Feast of Fates (Purim in Hebrew) commemorates Queen Esther's rescue of the Jewish people from the massacre organized by Haman, vizier to the Persian king Ahasuerus, in a miraculous turn of events. Associated with joy and laughter, this festival is the occasion for masquerade costume, carnival rituals, theatrical performances and burlesque parades.
Starting at 3pm, the Marx Sisters will take you on a wild journey through klezmer music, interspersed with the story of Queen Esther. And from 2 p.m. to 5.30 p.m.: face-painting for children.
In case of rain, the ball will be held in the contemporary gallery in several successive sessions.
Access to the hall is subject to availability, but the music will be broadcast live in the main courtyard.
Aman's ears and drinks provided by the Café des Psaumes.
