Contemporary art meets sport in a multi-faceted exhibition spanning France's 13 administrative regions, with a topical theme in the Île-de-France region. "Le monde est à tous.tes" is an ode to multiculturalism, at the heart of the Maison de la Conversation.

Across France, a major exhibition is set up to bringcontemporary art and sport to life, with 13 different themes in the country's 13 administrative regions. In each region, an infrastructure or sporting event hosts its own exhibition, reaching out to a public far removed from museums and art centers, such as the 24-hour circuit in Le Mans or the nautical stadium in Pau. In the Paris region, the Maison de la Conversation in the 18th arrondissement of Paris will be showcasing multiculturalism from July 13 to September 9, 2024.

In this free exhibition, the theme is to highlight cultural and ethnic diversity, mixing works, media and notions such as energy and affect, rhythm and light, bodies and languages. Here, visitors are invited to wander between video projections, photographs and performances as they wish, without a rigid itinerary, to discover creations in dialogue with each other, in an immense cultural mosaic with no hierarchy.

Works of art coexist and exchange, reflecting the complexity of human diversity, giving viewers the opportunity to forge links and meet each other, influenced by others.

In the 18th arrondissement, between Porte de Saint Ouen and Porte de Clignancourt, a third place opened in 2021, with the aim of putting conversation in the spotlight, or rather, to push people to recreate it. This crazy project is the brainchild of Xavier Cazard, a former journalist and communicator, who has decided to focus on the art of the spoken word, to encourage the neighborhood's residents (and everyone else) to exchange ideas in this way.
