From July 15 to August 25, 2024, the Paris museum invites us to discover Renaissance Treasures. Here, we can admire some sixty works from the Al Thani collection, chosen for their perfection and ingenuity.
More specifically, the Hôtel de la Marine wishes to pay tribute to the creativity and exceptional artistic techniques of the craftsmen and artists of that distant era. Whatever the materials, the colors, the functions of the objects, each work has been worked on, improved, perfected down to the smallest detail, arousing ever greater admiration and passion among visitors and collectors alike.
This exhibition invites us to admire a variety of objets d'art, from crystal goblets to rare jewelry, miniature portraits and decorative objects.
These sixty objects bear witness to the great expertise of these Renaissance masters. The diversity of materials and techniques, the finesse of the objects and the richness of the pieces make these objects true masterpieces, which tell us a great deal about the fashions and habits of the period.
