Following on from the Cité de l'Histoire at La Défense, the Cité Immersive Viking is now coming to the Paris region. First offered in Rouen, theinteractive historical experience will open in Seine-et-Marne on December 20, 2024, in the Westfield Carré Sénart shopping center. Take the whole family on a voyage of discovery of the first Vikings to enter France over 1,000 years ago, on their arrival from Scandinavia.
Smaller than in Northern France, the fun-filled tour retraces a century of Viking invasions along the Seine, until their leader, Rollon, decided to make peace and found what would become Normandy. Through four rooms, a real journey through time awaits you, as you pass from a drakkar, to an encampment and the throne room, before finishing with a 360º video mapping show .
Children and adults alike will be able to rediscover a part of French history in an immersive scenography accessible to all, surrounded bya multitude of archaeological objects and artifacts. Although we don't yet know the price of this experience, tickets open on November 26 at 11am.
