Open to all, without prior invitation needed, the Dîner en Couleurs [Colorful Dinner] thumbs its nose at the yearly and very secret Dîner en blanc. Scheduled this Thursday May 16, 2019 at the Place de la République and for the International Day of “Living-together in peace”, the Dîner en Couleurs will “celebrate brotherhood” with what we do well, eating!
The idea is to offer a solidarity-based moment free of any kind of discrimination, sharing a meal all together in a wonderful atmosphere. Organizer Fraternité Générale movement has some nice surprises in store!
All night long, starting from 5 p.m., let’s gather around the Statue de Marianne. On the menu: a giant dictation, an eloquence contest, a fraternal jam session, concerts, street art and most of all, good mood!
For its first edition held back in October 2018, the Dîner en Couleurs gathered over 2000 people for a wonderful night at the symbolic square in Paris.
To take part in this 2nd edition of this Republican dinner, all you have to do is cooking your favorite dish and bring your cutlery, your friends and/or colleagues, tables will be set for our greatest joy. This will be the occasion for people in precarious situation to enjoy a wonderful moment of sharing!
If the initiative is private, associations ATD Quart-Monde Ile-de-France, Bleu Blanc Zèbre, Le Carillon de Paris, Réseau Entourage and Le Labo de la Fraternité will be in to show their actions done for Paris inhabitants!
