Would you like to enjoy a delicious pizza in a restaurant? Or a truffled burrata for your evening meal? You can do all this in the same place, as Italian giant Eataly opens its doors to you.
Located behind the BHV Marais, this gigantic 4,000m2 store aims to become the ultimate temple of Italian gastronomy in Paris.
Since 2007, Eataly has been conquering the world, with stores in Italy, of course, but also in New York, Seoul, Stockholm, Dubai, Tokyo... among others! And now it's the turn of the French capital to succumb to the Italian tidal wave.
The figures are mind-boggling: 4,000m2 of floor space where customers and the curious can discover a 2,500m2 grocery store on the first floor, an inner courtyard for fruit and vegetables, a café, a wine cellar with 800 Italian wine references, and no fewer than 7 food and beverage outlets in the basement and on the second floor of the store.
Eataly Paris hopes to serve 2,500 diners a day. This ishardly surprising for this unusual venue, which is open every day until midnight, even on Sundays!
When you consider the success of La Felicita, the Big Mamma team's XXL restaurant , its recipes and the hours you have to wait to get a place in one of its food corners, you'd think the way was paved and thatEataly is arriving in Paris right on time.
