Nuits des Etoiles 2024 at Vaux le Pénil (77)

Pack a pair of good shoes, a little wool, a headlamp and something to eat, on the nights of August 9 to 11, 2024, because you're going to be spending part of the night outside! That's right, August marks the return of an event that celebrates nature and astronomy: the Nuits des Étoiles! For three exceptional evenings, the Club d'Astronomie du Val de Seine awaits young and old alike in Vaux le Pénil, on the dog club grounds, far from light pollution .

Explorers of the universe living in Seine-et-Marne are invited to observe the stars, with the naked eye, binoculars or telescope, to learn how to spot planets, constellations and enjoy the shooting stars of the Perseids! During these evenings, the association offers lectures, instrument presentations, visual observation and a stand dedicated to astrophotography, so you can feast your eyes.

Moon, planets and starry skies will be all yours by the end of this free event, open to all!
