Got no plans for August 10? Good news! On the occasion of the Nuits des Etoiles 2024, the town of Brétigny-sur-Orge in the 91 region of France is inviting the curious of all kinds to an evening of star, planet, comet and Milky Way observation, in the company of theAu bout des étoiles association.
The Parc Clause Bois Badeau, avenueClaude Lévi-Strauss, on the night of August 10-11, 2024. From 10 p.m. to 2 a.m., young and old alike will be able to scan the skies above Paris, in search of the wonders hidden in the dark night. Observations will be made with the naked eye, but also with the help of various instruments, glasses and telescopes lent by the association.
As with previous editions, we'd strongly advise you to take a little wool in case of summer chill, put on a pair of good shoes, and bring a headlamp to find your way in the dark.
