Everyone knows about the Nuits des Etoiles in summer, held at the beginning of August. But there's also a winter event, from February 9 to 11, 2024, for observing the season's skies, which are brimming with little wonders. TheAssociation Française d'Astronomie invites you to contemplate the stars and constellations during exceptional and convivial events, in partnership with the Mycéliades festival this year! An opportunity to observe Jupiter, Uranus and the Orion constellation under the beautiful winter stars.
Given the time of year and the winter chill common to the month of February, you'll need to pack some gear to avoid ending up freezing. Dress in layers, don't forget gloves, hats, scarves and warm socks, and don't forget a flashlight! On the menu: telescope and naked-eye sky observation evenings, stories and legends about the constellations and other surprises for the whole family.
