Did you know that one of the capital's very first cocktail bars was opened over a hundred years ago in the Parisian brasserie Le Gallopin?
Nestled not far from La Bourse, brasserie Le Gallopin decided to reopen its famous cocktail bar on November 27, with a new concept and a new head bartender.
Having worked at Bar Fly, Bouddha-Bar and, most recently, Tiger, bartender Stan Jouenne decided to reopen the bar alongside Mathieu Bucher, who bought Le Gallopin three years ago.
Together, they revitalized the bar, giving it a new image that blends French bourgeois cuisine with the art of cocktails. The aim? To showcase French terroir in harmony with French spirits!
To achieve this, Stan Jouenne offers a selection of 100% French spirits,"Vintage" aperitifs based on wines from the 20s, or Amer from the 30s and 40s... For lovers of clever beverages, Stan Jouenne"twists" the great cocktail classics to create a dozen creations that are both light and refined.
And as if that weren't enough, the Gallopin cocktail bar plans to host a variety of events: cartes blanches to renowned bartenders, cocktail tastings, competition launches...
