It's not just eastern Paris that's opening up some great ephemeral spots this summer. The west of the capital is also starting to set up places in certain nooks and crannies that are well worth a visit.
The latest? Le Petit Pré. Discovered on May 17, at the foot of the brand-new Hippodrome ParisLongchamp, Le Petit Pré awaits you from Thursday to Sunday, until the end of summer 2018, to make you experience a summer that's at once gourmet, bucolic and festive.
Described as the " first Food Garden in Paris ", this large garden is betting on barbecue for this first edition. To this end, Le Petit Pré is inviting a number of distinguished guests who will regularly test their mettle on the grill throughout the season. Among them, you'll find the team from The Beast, as well as Japan's Peco Peco, Mulko and its Mediterranean cuisine, Pressing BBQ and its Argentinian asado, and BMK Paris Bamako.
To accompany all this, the talented Rob Mac Hardy has devised an equally audacious cocktail menu.
Le Petit Pré also offers a wide range of leisure activities: yoga classes, trampoline, badminton, pétanque...
Finally, to let off steam in the evening, Le Petit Pré hosts surprise concerts and DJ sets for dancing on the grass all summer long!
Discover Le Petit Pré from Thursday evening to Sunday evening, with a new program every week.
Every Thursday evening until July 12, visitors to Le Petit Pré can also combine their experience with that of semi-nightly horse racing. The program includes horse racing, entertainment and music. These races take place every Thursday until July 12 (with the exception of June 21) from 6pm to 9pm.
To check the opening and program each week, visit the official Facebook page of Le Petit Pré.
