With 5 stars to its name, the Sofitel Paris Le Faubourg has everything it takes to please the curious. And when it comes to delighting guests, the hotel knows what it's doing. Forsummer 2022, the Sofitel Paris Le Faubourg unveils the perfect terrace for an aperitif with friends.
Located on rue Boissy d'Anglas, the pedestrianized section of which guarantees calm and serenity, the terrace is even more inviting than last year's, with leather sofas, lush greenery and a covered area for inclement weather.
This year, the Sofitel Paris Le Faubourg puts the accent on a change of scenery, with cocktails in collaboration with Diplomatico, the Venezuelan rum house. The menu features tropical-flavored cocktails by head bartender Aurélie Bourré, who takes us on a journey without even leaving the capital.
Our favorite is the Havana cocktail (17€), unveiled at the Taste of Paris festival and composed of Diplomatico Mantuano, Bulleit RyeWhisky infused with Lapsang, Campari and Galliano L'Autentico liqueur. We won't reveal more about how this one is presented, so as not to spoil the surprise - but its table entry won't leave you unmoved.
The Veracruz cocktail (Tequila infused with kaffir lime leaves, mezcal, grapefruit and lime juice, spice and chili syrup, tonic; 17€) and the Punta Cana cocktail (Diplomatico Planas, spiced rum, Angostura, pineapple, passion fruit, ginger, lime, tonka syrup; 17€) are also great discoveries. No need to spell it out for you: these cocktails are here to make you vo-ya-ger!
These clever beverages are accompanied by tasty finger-food tapas, straight from the mind of chef Anaïs Foray. After the glasses,Latin America finds its way to the plates, with flavors and products that warm the heart and taste buds: the unmissable guacamole (12€), generously served, the fish croquetas (14€) flavored with jalapeno that will delight gourmets with their crispiness, or the beef tiradito (12€), a kind of carpaccio spiced up with a coulis of chili, peppers and coriander.
On the sweet side, pastry chef Shereen Khélif is on hand to spoil you with a surprisingly light rice pudding (10€) with salted butter caramel and caramelized peanuts, or ultra-regressive homemade churros (10€), dipped in dulce de leche.
And on Thursdays, the party gets even crazier, with Fiesta Latina evenings featuring salsa music!
