Here's an address that's sure to arouse the curiosity of all suds lovers! L.B.F. (La Brasserie Fondamentale) is springing a surprise this autumn with the opening of its first taproom in Paris! Located in the heart of the Strasbourg-Saint-Denis district, La Brasserie Fondamentale' s new taproom is a warm and inviting place where craft beers take pride of place, but that's not all...
To accompany the 100% L.B.F. draught beers, which are produced responsibly, there are also plates to share, devised by chef Eloi Spinnler. What's on the menu? A dozen quality gourmet suggestions, including a melting burrata from crèmerie Frescolet, a tasty olive cream, hummus, coppa toast, dry sausage and PDO Espelette chilli pâté from Maison Montalet, not forgetting desserts for the sweet tooth!
As for beers, the L.B.F. taproom offers a selection of the house staples, including organic Pale Ale andorganic IPA, as well as a number of ephemerals, such as a Porter with notes of chestnuts, an apricot cherry beer and a Triple. Expect to pay between €4 and €5 for a half and between €6.50 and €9 for a pint.
L.B. F. opened its first location in Paris, in the Pigalle district. With another address based in Bordeaux, and new openings planned in the capital, La Brasserie Fondamentale is weaving its web, and intends to quench the thirst of a large number of beer lovers.
