If you've ever had the chance to visit Spain, you've certainly noticed the late lunch hours. In the land of flamenco, lunch isn't served at high noon, but rather at 2 p.m. or even 3 p.m.! So it's no shock if we tell you that on Sundays, a big brunch awaits you from 12pm to 2pm (for the last arrivals, the brunch closes later), so you can get together with family and friends... And feast on Spanish specialities.
What's on the menu? You'll find an all-you-can-eat buffet, with a savory section including Iberian charcuterie, the essential tortilla de patatas, ham croquetas, vegetable quiches, grilled bacon, sun-dried vegetables, piquillos and manchego (small sweet peppers stuffed with a manchego cream, a Spanish cheese), etc. On the sweet side, you'll find the viennoiseries typical of any brunch, dried fruit, fromage frais, muesli, carrot cake, sourdough bread, cereal bread, wholemeal bread, fruit and even churros! In addition to the all-you-can-eat buffet, each guest can order two dishes from the à la carte menu, choosing from fresh avocado and feta toast, runny eggs Benedict (or salmon, ham...), a generous salmon bagel with homemade bread or, for those with a sweet tooth, porridge or pancakes!
Throughout the brunch, hot drinks are served on tap, while fresh fruit juices and detox waters are self-serve during your meal. For this gourmet brunch with a Spanish accent, expect to pay €49 per adult for the brunch menu, €59 with a glass of champagne and €25 for the children's menu (available up to age 12).
