If you're wondering where to celebrate Thanksgiving 2023 in Paris, then head for the capital's 18th arrondissement. On Thursday, November 23, chef Antoine Westermann awaits you at Coq & Fils (formerly known as Le Coq Rico) with a special Thanksgiving 2023 menu , also available for takeaway.
A la carte? Turkey, of course, but not just any turkey, since chef Antoine Westermann has chosen to honor the Dinde Rouge des Ardennes, a breed that is becoming increasingly rare, and which the chef has chosen so that it will continue to be tasted by gourmets.
From Isabelle and Cyriaque Godefroy's farm in Renneville, this exceptional hardy bird is a direct descendant of the North American wild turkey. This generous, marbled beast with its tender, juicy texture awaits you at Coq & Fils for Thanksgiving 2023!
Note that you can taste this marvel on site, at dinner only! This Ardennes Red Turkey, slowly poached in broth and then roasted on a spit, will be accompanied by poultry jus, poultry pie, cranberry chutney, meatloaf, butternut purée with citrus zest, and to finish on a high note, pumpkin ice cream (!) or a Black Forest-style sundae.
This beautiful beast is also available to take away, poached and ready to roast at home. So, do we prepare it ourselves or do we put our feet under the table?
