Lord and Lady Bradford's hotel, built in 1884 on rue Saint-Philippe du Roule, is now a four-star hotel with 50 romantically charming rooms. You enter as if in the rich home of a prestigious guest: through two heavy glass doors, you enter a luminous corridor that leads straight to the hotel reception.
The immediate impression is one of plush comfort: you could spend hours relaxing in this charming hotel.
As you pass by, you come across the breakfast room, which also hosts a free buffet from 1 p.m. to 2 a.m. (grab a glass of juice, a cup of tea or a slice of pie while you're at it!), the stairwell and its period elevator, a sublime wrought-iron cage that gives the hotel all its cachet, and two lounges, one of which has an "honesty bar" - in other words, a bar where guests serve themselves and note down their drinks.
Then, upstairs, the rooms are charming and spacious. Decorated with moldings and modern amenities (cozy beds, mini-bars and connected speakers for smartphones), they create a lovely dialogue between ancient and modern.
Choose the rooms with terraces, which are very large and pleasant; especially the 57, which is the most beautiful.
