The Domaine des Vanneaux is a beautiful hotel that has it all: located 40 minutes from Paris, with comfortable rooms, a spa to relax in, a golf course to clear your head and a gourmet restaurant to thrill your taste buds, we recommend it for a relaxing weekend!

TheHôtel du Domaine des Vanneaux is a green setting in the middle of the Isle Adam forest. Opening in July 2019, this resolutely contemporary building offers a beautiful moment of relaxation with services worthy of a 5-star hotel.

Even before you arrive, you'll feel the sense of calm in the narrow streets of Presles. Arriving in 35 minutes from the Gare du Nord by Transilien train, we are greeted by thehotel 's private chauffeurs (reservations required). In just 5 minutes, we're whisked away from the city.

In the midst of nature, the large building, designed by Jean-Michel Wilmotte, makes an impact. It has to be said that theHôtel du Domaine des Vanneaux is a very large establishment of 5,600m2 in a beautiful setting of 80 hectares, on just two floors, to avoid any visual pollution.

This beautiful hotel, with its contemporary chalet atmosphere, has just 67 rooms, two restaurants, a swimming pool and a pleasant spa, also open to locals, as well as meeting rooms for businesses and weddings!

A hotel with a relaxing atmosphere

The Hôtel du Domaine des Vanneaux is the work of French designer Jean-Michel Wilmotte. Imagined as a large chalet on the edge of the Isle-Adam golf course, a contemporary country house in wood, this hotel is a beautiful, luminous edifice thanks to its magnificent bay windows offering panoramic views of nature. Wood cladding, stone, zinc, walnut - everything is designed to reconnect you with nature and silence. Whether at reception, in the outdoor areas or in the lobby and corridors, nature is present and silence is natural.

Two restaurants by chef Pierre Meneau

Chef Pierre Meneau , a first-rate recruit, offers refined cuisine in the hotel's two restaurants: the gastronomic Plume and the bistronomic Piaf. The chef, known to Parisians for his Top Chef adventure and his restaurant Crom'Esquis, comes here to offer a natural cuisine, focused on the raw product.

At La Plume, it's all about the big night, with a 7-course menu. The service is highly formalized, on a par with the great Parisian restaurants, confirming the chef's desire to see his table awarded the stars. As soon as we make our reservation, we're asked about our allergies, whether we prefer meat or fish, and if we're vegetarian... All these questions have one aim: to offer us a tailor-made experience, the time of a maestro's meal. So much so that the restaurant has already won over the locals, who come on Friday evenings and Saturdays and Sundays for lunch and dinner, the only days it's open.

More affordable, and open every day, Le Piaf offers a bistronomic cuisine focused on simple, but well-executed dishes. Designed primarily as a restaurant for golf enthusiasts, meals here are gourmet and quick! There's mushroom pizzeta, porcini ravioli and beef tournedos with polenta fries.

It has to be said that the dishes are very good, both in the Plume and the Piaf, and this will only get better with the arrival of a 250m2 vegetable garden in March 2020.

Large rooms with a view of nature

The rooms at Domaine des Vanneaux are impressively tranquil. Large and all offering a beautiful view of the outdoors (either of the patio, or of the forest and nearby golf course), the rooms are cozy. In fact, the smallest room, at 170 euros per night, is 32m² with a 7m² terrace. A large bed with a hard but relaxing mattress, a large bathroom and a desk overlooking nature make you feel right at home. Room service is available 24 hours a day in all rooms, for absolute comfort.

Executive suites offer a bathtub that feels so cozy, and for large families, suites with two connecting rooms offer almost 100m² with a beautiful living room, at 600 euros per night.

The Spa for a moment of relaxation

For this hotel, Wilmotte has designed a beautiful spa with three treatment cabins and a jacuzzi with fireplace overlooking the forest! For couples or groups, the spa can be fully privatized for guaranteed peace and quiet. Treatments and rituals are inspired by the best techniques from around the world, using organic oils and treatments from Spa Cinq Mondes and Biovive. A 30-minute massage costs 45 euros.

A solarium and a magnificent 16m x 10m outdoor pool await us, with a beautiful view of the inner garden and nature. Please note that the pool is not heated in winter, in order to protect the environment.

Golf de l'Isle Adam for wild rounds

As you might have guessed, theHôtel du Domaine des Vanneaux was designed by the owners of Golf de l'Isle Adam to accommodate golf enthusiasts. A great plus for this popular golf course, which hosts numerous national competitions.

All you have to do to get to Golf de l'Isle Adam is cross an alleyway. Designed by architect Ronald Fream, this course is considered one of the finest in France! Its 18-hole course is available for 99 euros, but for an initiation, the putting green and practice range are ideal. And there's no need to come equipped, as the golf course offers club loans for as little as 4 euros and 2 buckets of balls for 6 euros, so there's plenty of fun to be had without spending too much.

An equestrian estate coming soon?

As we've been told, the Domaine des Vanneaux is a vast 200-hectare area of unspoilt countryside. While the owners have already invested 80 hectares with the golf course andhotel, there are still 120 hectares to be developed. If rumors are to be believed, an equestrian estate and a residence are in the pipeline, to be completed in the coming years. The Domaine de Vanneaux still has many surprises in store for us. Stay tuned!
