Located between the Golden Triangle and the Place de l'étoile, the Hôtel Vernet has decided to give itself a facelift as the hotel celebrates its 100th anniversary. And to give it a new, resolutely more modern look, the Hôtel Vernet, owned by Bessé Signature, decided to call on interior designer François Champsaur.
Wishing to pay homage to French savoir-faire, he opted for quality. Just take a look at the new rooms. Dedicated to comfort and well-being, they feature a wood-dominated ambience, with oak parquet flooring and impressive wooden doors.
Pierre Frey unveils organic cotton curtains, while the gradient woven wool plaids are by Arpin. The bathroom features sumptuous Carrara marble basins, glass mosaics and brass fittings by Stella.
Luxury and nobility are also found on the hotel's first floor, in the lobby. Contemporary design and luminous space, original marble floors, colorful designer furniture, carpets laid on the floor like abstract paintings... the hotel is a sight to behold from the moment you enter.
Not far from there, we discover V, Hôtel Vernet's restaurant. Located under the impressive Gustave Eiffel glass roof, the restaurant's cuisine is open to the public via a bay window. The restaurant also features tables and banquettes arranged around the perimeter, and a gold lounge at the far end of the room, ideal for private events.
At the helm is Chef Richard Robe, whose aim is to emphasize the origin and gustatory qualities of the products he selects. Once you've satisfied your taste buds, why not head for the bar? With its marble countertop and unstructured contours, the bar offers a light, intimate atmosphere. A magnificent copper screen stands behind it. On the ceiling? A fresco by Jean-Michel Alberola visually responds to the carpet also signed by the artist.
