Hotel Joke, the childlike hotel ideal for families

On Rue Blanche, just a stone's throw from the Moulin Rouge, Hotel Joke is revealed. With its minimalist façade and sober entrance, you'd almost walk past it without stopping... if it weren't for the stuffed animals inviting you in! With its playful, funny and childlike atmosphere, Hotel Joke is a pleasant surprise: you'll feel right at home!

The Pigalle district is not famous for its candor, quite the contrary. The red lights and nocturnal bars have made and still make the legend of this mythical district. Hotels here have the flavor of a five-a-seven, and we hesitate to stay here with children... And yet!

Pigalle has been transformed over the years, with quieter nights and gentler days, as reflected in the identity ofHotel Joke, an explosion of color amidst the gray streets.

So, plush toys greet you at the front of the building: then, as you enter, balloon-shaped lights, hallucination-like tables, a library full of books and games, and pastel-colored seating. It's a bit like Alice in Wonderland!

In the bedrooms, the games continue with puzzles, wheels to turn, sentences to build with magnets... And while waiting for the elevator, guests can watch hidden camera videos to pass the time!

The aesthetics are based on repeated motifs, even if it means losing your head a little: diamonds, stripes, checks and Eiffel Towers multiply to form a visual kaleidoscope. In a whirlwind of joy and good humor, the guest is enveloped in a very special universe, at once playful and childlike, giving as much desire to have pillow fights as to play tag with your lover.

The rooms are delightfully comfortable and designed like small apartments, with desks, sofas and other details that complete the overall impression of well-being. It's a real success story, thanks to French architect Philippe Maidenberg.

As a bonus, there's a buffet of sweets, fruit and drinks; games are available; and the prices are quite reasonable for the ideal location and the high quality of the welcome.
