And that's three! In July 2020, Tripletta opened its third Parisian address. After Belleville and Montparnasse, the Neapolitan pizza specialist has chosen to set up shop in the heart of the Latin Quarter, a stone's throw from the Censier Daubenton metro station.
With its charming decor and lilting welcome, this new Tripletta establishment has everything it takes to become the new HQ for local residents. It's true that the pizzeria has opted for a colorful décor with a typical bistro feel and trendy touches, but that's not all...
Of course, there's also the imposing wood-fired oven where pizzas are baked slowly and lovingly. The menu features classics such as " Tripletta " pizzas (San Marzano DOP tomato sauce, DOP parmesan, fresh basil, mozzarella fior di latte d'Agerola, spianata calabra, green peppers, N'duja di Spilinga), " Touco " (tomato sauce, spianata salabra, gorgonzola, green peppers, mozzarella) or " Brooklyn " (double San Marzano DOP tomato sauce, DOP parmesan, fresh basil, mozzarella fior di latte d'Agerola, double pepperoni).... all made in the Neapolitan tradition with 100% Italian products and certified DOP and/or ORGANIC.
Do you prefer the " Gustosa " pizza (pesto di basilico, DOP parmesan, fresh basil, mozzarella fior di latte d'Agerola, salame di maialino nero casertano) or the " Manzonini " (mozzarella fior di latte d'Agerola, arugula, bresaola, DOP parmesan, basil pesto)?
We went for the unmissable " Prosciutto e Funghi " (San Marzano DOP tomato sauce, DOP parmesan, fresh basil, mozzarella fior di latte d'Agerola, l'Italiano 1930 ham, fresh mushrooms). Ultra gourmet!
And if you're looking for more originality, try one of the four gourmet pizzas created exclusively by the chef. There's the one with truffle cream, then the one with ricotta or the one with preserved lemon, for maximum freshness. And the fourth? It's a great success with pesto rosso, mozzarella di bufala, melting eggplant and arugula!
For a truly Italian moment, opt for a melt-in-your-mouth burratina classica as a starter (or not), or a plate of wood-oven-roasted vegetables (zucchini, artichoke hearts, eggplant, peppers).
And to finish on a sweet note that's good for the taste buds, discover baba au rhum or the inevitable, generous tiramisu!
Last but not least, what better way to accompany these tasty pizzas than with a delicious beverage, such as Spritz or Negroni. Wine lovers won't be outdone, either, with a selection of organic and natural wines from Veneto, Piedmont, Puglia and Tuscany.
So, are you ready to travel to Italy from the Latin Quarter? And for those who prefer to stay at home, Tripletta also offers pizza delivery - and you'd be wrong to miss out!
Please note that it's been over 4 years since our last visit, so the place and experience may have changed.
