Beneath the bright lights of Paris's Golden Triangle lies a gastronomic gem with a twist: the Dos Almas restaurant, part of the5-star Villa Marquis hotel. There, every dish seems to be a stopover on a gourmet itinerary where Spanish passion and French culinary art have come together to create a fusion cuisine full of character.
Every Friday evening, Dos Almas transforms itself into a port of call for jazz lovers, hosting a live concert where suave notes and haunting melodies add a magical touch to your meal. Here, every moment is an invitation to escape.
Embark on a one-way ticket to the Iberian Peninsula. During your stay in the sun, a stone's throw from the Eiffel Tower, the Seine and the most beautiful avenue in the world, each plate is a postcard, each ingredient a discovery and each flavor a memory.
The address advises us to begin our gastronomic journey with delicate snacked scallops, draped in a mousseline of roasted pears and celery. Meanwhile, the elegant squid a la plancha, blooming with squid ink rice, takes us straight to the Mediterranean coast. Our hearts go out to the "Cecina de Leon", smoked beef with creamy calabres and a dried fruit vinaigrette. A surprising blend of meat and cheese, strong in flavor, and extremely addictive.
But what would a trip to Spain be without a detour to the sea? The octopus a la plancha, delicately grilled and accompanied by a saffron seafood Caldoso rice, or the sea bass fillet a la plancha, cooked to perfection, and its fideuà with prawns and honey-lacquered squash, undoubtedly one of the most gourmet and favorite dishes on the menu.
And what about the desserts? The generous "Catalan" crème brûlée, with citrus and cinnamon, transports you straight to the sunny alleys of Barcelona, while the Turron de Jijona coulant with pear sorbet evokes the sweet flavors of Spanish markets.
Dos Almas, the Iberian table where you can happily lose yourself between France and Spain, against a backdrop of live jazz!
