Calling all electro music fans in search of unusual events in Paris! Michael Canitrot 's " Monumental Tour " takes place in the heart of Paris for a unique evening.
To coincide with France's presidency of the Council of the European Union, the French DJ-producer's flagship concept of combining electro music and heritage is coming to the gardens of the Palais-Royal for the first time. The " Monumental Tour Europe " is set to transform this historic Parisian landmark into a veritable temple of electro music, and will take place on Thursday, May 12, 2022, from 9:30pm.
The 2,000 guests present for the occasion will be able to count on the talent of Michal Canitrot to keep them dancing until midnight. The French artist won't be the only one behind the turntables, as German band Einmusik and young French artist Ams will be warming up the audience in the first half.
Because Michal Canitrot 's " Monumental Tour " is much more than a simple electro concert, the evening will also feature a veritable light and mapping show, created by the Av-Extended artists' collective. From 11pm onwards, light effects and video projections will be projected onto the facades of the Ministry of Culture, to the rhythm of Michael Canitrot's electro sounds.
To top it all off, admission to the evening is free, but reservations are required (sold out). And for those who can't make it, dry your tears, as this " Monumental Tour Europe " will be broadcast on France Télévisions on June 30, 2022.
Program
Conceived by Michael Canitrot, the " Monumental Tour " is a flagship concept for events combining electro music and heritage. The French DJ and producer has already taken his unusual project to Chantilly and Strasbourg, as well as the Château de Vincennes, the Baleines lighthouse on the Ile de Ré, Mont Saint-Michel and the Château de Pierrefonds.
