CLUB80: night at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs and clubbing at L'ŒIL

On the occasion of the exhibition Années 80. Fashion, design and graphics in France, the Musée des Arts Décoratifs is offering three exceptional evenings on Thursdays, January 26, February 23 and April 13, 2023. The program includes a nocturnal tour of the exhibition from 6pm to 9pm, before joining the dancefloor of the intimate L'ŒIL club until the end of the night! Entitled CLUB 80, this event celebrates fashion, music, dance and style, linking the 1980s to the 2020s.

CLUB80 by Radio FG is a hybrid culture/clubbing evening that immerses you in the "80s" exhibition in the Nave of the museum, illustrating the lifestyle of this historic decade through 700 works: objects, furniture, fashion silhouettes, posters, photographs, music videos, record sleeves and iconic fanzines.

From Jean Paul Gaultier to Thierry Mugler, via creations by Jean-Paul Goude, Jean-Baptiste Mondino and Étienne Robial, the festive, pop and colorful spirit of the era is omnipresent!

Along the way, you'll discover an "Eighties" atmosphere and boundless musical creativity, reinterpreted in the evening by some of Paris's hottest party artists! Echoing the exhibition, three collectives will take to the stage at L'ŒIL, the capital's oldest gay club, for an extraordinary art and music experience in tribute to the 80s.

CLUB80 music program:

• Thursday, January 26, 2023 from 9pm: Kindergarten
  French queer collective based in Paris, bringing together DJs, graphic designers, scenographers and performing artists.
  
• Thursday, February 23, 2023 from 9pm: Pardonnez-nous
  Pardonnez-nous is a group of 5 DJs from a variety of complementary musical backgrounds. The collective aims to create a community united by music, dance, pleasure and sharing.
  
• Thursday April 13, 2023 from 9pm: MYST
  MYST is a queer project mixing music with art and giving, putting alternative culture in the spotlight. Between subversive evenings with immersive universes and extravagant performances, the collective is adept at all manner of sartorial madness and even organizes fashion shows mixing avant-garde creatures and sparkling creations.
  

And 80s looks are highly recommended when visiting the exhibition! The most extravagant outfits will be rewarded (catalogs to be won).

Practical info:
Reservations are essential and give access to the CLUB80 evening and the temporary exhibition nocturne.
The tour starts at 6pm and ends at 9pm, then meet at 9pm at Club L'ŒIL, 33 rue des Petits Champs Paris 1er.
