It's an event that electronic music fans look forward to. This year, the Techno Parade returns to Paris to celebrate its 25th anniversary on Saturday, September 23, 2023. It's the perfect opportunity for fans of acid house, italo disco, techno and drum and bass to get their groove on, thanks to this unmissable parade of floats swinging to the rhythm of electro beats by national and international artists invited for the occasion.
Techno Parade in Paris: the electro parade will be cancelled in 2024
Bad news for lovers of electronic music. The organizers of the Techno Parade in Paris have announced the cancellation of this not-to-be-missed festive event in 2024. The free musical event, which showcases electronic music and culture in the streets of Paris every year, will not be making a comeback this autumn due to the organization of the Olympic Games, which "makes access impossible" to the assembly site. But the Techno Parade also continues into the evening, with official and highly sought-after afters parties in the clubs. On September 23 and 24, 2023, head to La Villette for an evening orchestrated by Family Piknik.
The after-party will take place over two days (Saturday from 6pm, then Sunday from 2pm to 2am) at the Périphérique ! On the program? An ultra-slick line-up of international artists, including some rather rare DJs. You'll find Nakadia, Hi Lo, Kadosh, Patrice Bäumel and Tom Pooks.
