Make Music Day 2022 at the Arènes de Lutèce in Paris with Metronomy, Bertrand Berlin, Ibeyi...

The Fête de la Musique 2022 is once again coming to the 5th arrondissement of Paris, and more specifically to the Arènes de Lutèce, for a new free concert organized by Fip. Join us on Tuesday, June 21, for a concert featuring Metronomy, Bertrand Berlin and Ibeyi!

It's a musical event that's sure to be the envy of many. For this year's Fête de la Musique, a number of free concerts will be held throughout Paris, some of which are sure to be a must-see. Such is the case of this exclusive concert organized on Tuesday June 21, 2022 at the Arènes de Lutèce and proposed by Fip, the Mairie du 5e and the Mairie de Paris.

Last year, Fip pulled out all the stops, hosting an eclectic and original program in this sublime Gallo-Roman theater in the 5th arrondissement. Among those invited to the Arènes de Lutèce were British rocker Peter Doherty, French rock band Last Train, electro-pop sextet L'Impératrice, Franco-Italian songwriter Piers Faccini, and talented saxophonist Thomas de Pourquery and his friends Laurent Bardainne and Fabrice Martinez (Drôles de Dames ). And to round off this mouth-watering program, Fip also welcomed Ballaké Sissoko, his kora and his high-flying accomplices Camille, Arthur Teboul from Feu! Chatterton, and Oxmo Puccino.

So, who will have the honor of rocking the Arènes de Lutèce on June 21, 2022, and celebrating 40 years of the Fête de la Musique in this legendary Parisian venue? Well, Metronomy has been announced for this great free concert organized by Fip. But that's not all, as the Franco-Cuban twins ofIbeyi will also be there, as will Bertrand Belin, saxophonist Laurent Bardainne and his Tigre d'Eau Douce quartet, not forgetting the incredible London singer, multi-instrumentalist, DJ and producer Emma-Jean Thackray.
