As France is about to celebrate the New Year 2022, in Paris, the Police Prefecture announced measures and restrictions to supervise alcohol-drinking in the street. Here are places alcohol-drinking is banned.
This April 1st, Jean Castex announced that drinking alcohol was now banned in the streets in order to prevent gatherings in parks or in front of bars. This ban is added to compulsory facemask-wearing and the ban of gathering over 6 people in public places. A measure instated Saturday April 3.
As Paris and the entire France are back on lockdown, this Thursday November 5, the police headquarters release a decree updating the ban of selling and drinking alcohol past 10 p.m. Bars and restaurants must implement these measures starting Friday November 6, 2020.
