The Christmas vacations are the perfect time to (re)take the family on a tour of La Monnaie de Paris, on the Quai de Conti in the 6th arrondissement. The program includes guided tours and unusual workshops on the theme of coins, accessible to the whole family, including children aged 5 and over.
Come and celebrate the magic of Christmas at La Monnaie de Paris, with our guided family tours, to help children discover the permanent collections and the behind-the-scenes workings of this great French institution.
If you're feeling more creative, why not try your hand at one of the many workshops on offer: make a Christmas medal at the workshop, or a chocolate medal to celebrate the festive season in style, with a truly gourmet activity!
La Monnaie de Paris is our country's monetary institution. It's here that the coins we use every day are made, and the Musée de la Monnaie takes the opportunity to raise awareness and provide a behind-the-scenes look at the Paris mint. It regularly offers exhibitions, workshops and guided tours... especially for families.
