The town of Châtenay-Malabry celebrates the Fête nationale on Sunday, July 14, 2024, with a host of events followed by the traditional fireworks display!

On July 14, 2024, for the Fête nationale, there are those who plan to head to the Champs-Élysées avenue to enjoy the unmissable military parade ( which this year has exceptionally been moved to avenue Foch). Others will be dancing the night away with the return of the bals des pompiers and bals populaires. And then there are those who have their heads in the stars and want to be dazzled by the traditional fireworks display.

On July 14, the town of Châtenay-Malabry in the Hauts-de-Seine region of France is planning to make a big splash with a National Holiday to remember! On the program? Free entertainment all day long on the Coulée Verte. It's sure to be a festive day for young and old alike! Find out more about the family program below!

The great summer rendezvous for families!

Get ready for an unforgettable day full of joy, laughter and good times! Once again this year, the Coulée Verte is transformed into a veritable festive paradise as we celebrate our national holiday together.
On the program: some 15 food-trucks for non-stop gourmet breaks from 12pm, free games for all, merry-go-rounds, donkey rides, music for dancing from 2pm and the traditional fireworks display to top it all off at 11pm.

12pm-11pm: food trucks offer a variety of flavors to satisfy every craving. Whether you prefer a juicy or vegetarian burger, a pizza, a tasty wrap, a delicious paella or tapas, bagels, salads, hot dogs and pokébowls... you'll find something to delight your taste buds. You'll also be able to sample galettes bretonnes, Thai, Japanese and French specialties. For those with a sweet tooth, a selection of sweets is also available: cotton candy, crêpes, waffles, Italian-style ice creams, candies and popcorn... Come and indulge in our delicious culinary offerings!

2pm-7pm: over 25 games for children aged 1 and over, with 14 incredible inflatables. Imagine the joy of discovering The Grim Reaper, The Zoo Course, The Rainbow Course, The Big Slide, The Fun Fly, The Climb, The Interactive Bungee Shoot, The Dino, The Ventrigliss, The Frog Park, The Pirate, The King Kong Course, The Human Foosball, The Clown Ball Bath. And that's not all! Families can also enjoy traditional fairground games, duck fishing, Guignol shows (at 2.45pm, 4.15pm and 5.45pm), two parent-powered rides and a donkey ride.

12pm-11pm: festive and musical entertainment: from 12pm to 7pm, singers, musicians, a batucada group, giant stilt-walkers, balloon sculptors, face-painters... will set the pace for the afternoon from 12pm to 7pm, while the fantastic electro violinist Angie and the JET 7 trio, with their greatest hits from the 70s to the present day, will keep the party going from 7pm to 11pm.
