La Pâtisserie des Rêves unveils its 2018 Christmas logs

With Christmas just around the corner, it's time to start thinking about the log you're going to put on the table in front of your guests' hungry eyes this festive evening. A trip to La Pâtisserie des Rêves could be just what you're looking for. The patisserie has in fact just unveiled its creations for the 2018 festive season, and the whole thing is truly enviable.

The collection of logs is signed Etienne Leroy, 2017 World Pastry Champion, and will be available from the end of November 2018 in the store. In all, 4 mouth-watering logs are on offer:

• La Buche Création: le Sapin Enchanté. Etienne Leroy has created a log in the shape of a fir tree, the iconic Christmas tree. This all-chocolate creation combines different textures: crunchy, melting and frothy. It features a hazelnut praline crunch, a melting ganache with Guanaja heart, a soft chocolate cookie with almond paste, an exotic fruit confit and a dark and milk chocolate, lime and vanilla cream. The whole is enveloped in a dark chocolate mousse and a fine, shiny dark icing. For 12 people, it will cost 135 euros. Only 50 copies of Le Sapin Enchanté will be made, so reserve yours quickly.

• La Bûche Cacao du Vénézuela. One of Pâtisserie des Rêves' signature desserts. A 100% cocoa and chocolate dessert, yet light and sweet.

• Bûche Vanille de Madagascar & Noix de Pécan. The essential vanilla log is combined here with pecans.
