Christmas 2024: torchlight procession, enchanted Christmas village and shows in Fontainebleau (77)

The Fontainebleau region is bursting at the seams for the magical Christmas season, transforming itself into a veritable Christmas village with the opening of its unmissable market and a host of free events for families!

In December, it's time to celebrate the best Christmas ever with the whole family in Fontainebleau, right next to the famous château! This year, the town is transformed into an enchanted Christmas village, with activities for the whole family.

From December 13 to 15, shop local at the Christmas market, filled with handcrafted treasures and winter delights, including chocolate, mulled wine... There's plenty of free entertainment for all the family, including balloon sculptures and the chance to meet the famous Santa Claus and give him your gift list!

Get out your sleds and bonnets from December 21 to 29 to enjoy the Christmas Village, in a winter setting as if you were at altitude! Experience the thrill of sliding with your family on a specially prepared toboggan run, attack your friends by throwing snowballs, or climb aboard magical sleighs on an enchanted merry-go-round and test your physical skills on the adventure course!

Don't forget to look up to admire the city's decorations during the month of December and until January 11, 2024.
