Christmas 2024 festivities in Rambouillet: Christmas market, video mapping and Santa Claus village

This year's Christmas festivities in Rambouillet are shaping up to be grandiose, with a great program for the whole family. Video mapping, visits to Santa's village, free workshops for children, ice rink, Christmas market... There's something for everyone, young and old, to feast their eyes on.

The program includes a stroll through the Christmas market at the Bergerie Nationale, which is offering a festive day on Sunday, December 15, 2024, with a Christmas crib of farm animals, storytelling carriage rides, cow milking, photos with Santa Claus and a host of exhibitors showcasing their gourmet and farm produce. To round off this festive day, there will also be a fireworks display at 6 p.m.!

Children also have a date with La Grande Fabrique, Rambouillet's brand-new Christmas village, to be held from December 11 to 15, 2024, in the Jardin du Roi de Rome. It's here that you'll be able to plunge into the heart of the Christmas toy factory, meet the characters who help Santa Claus and marvel at the pictorial Christmas tale, projected in video mapping every late afternoon, as night falls. During this period, the Palais du Roi de Rome also offers creative workshops to make and decorate your own Christmas tree, while the Rambolitrain invites you to board its special Christmas garden train during the school vacations.

Of course, the big ice rink is back this year on the Place Félix Faure, and it's open every day (even December 25 and 31) from December 9 to January 7, 2024!
