Discover one of the capital's first fireproof skyscrapers, invisible from the street!
Step through the doors of the Palais Cambon, home to the Cour des Comptes, to discover its former archive tower. Also known as the Chicago Tower, due to its architectural inspiration. With its ten storeys above ground and two below, the Tour Chicago is one of the capital's first skyscrapers. It was built in 1898 from non-combustible materials to provide the safest possible home for the archives of the Cour des Comptes.
In 2009, it was converted into an office tower.
The Tour Chicago is only visible from inside the Palais Cambon.

The Court of Audit's reports will hold no secrets for you
The Court of Audit's reports are drawn up by its six thematic chambers.
The Court's Public Reports and Programs Department (SRPP), headed by the General Reporter, is a cross-functional department that is involved both upstream and downstream in the preparation of these reports: upstream, it coordinates and leads the preparation of the Court's work program, in conjunction with the chambers, while downstream, it finalizes the publications, in particular the Annual Public Report (APR), with the help of its editorial division. Finally, it oversees the annual follow-up report on the Court's recommendations.
