Horse lovers, this is for you! The Hippodrome ParisLongchamp takes part for the very first time in European Heritage Days which 36th edition takes place on September 21 and 22, 2019. On the menu and only on Saturday, guided tours and entertainments for the whole family are planned from noon to 7 p.m. by registration.
Inaugurated in 1857 by Napoléon III, the Longchamp racetrack covers 57 hectares between the Seine and the Bois de Boulogne. Specialized in speed racing (rope on the right), Longchamp is one of the most famous racetracks in the world. Today, it houses major horse events such as the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe, as well as cultural events such as Solidays or even Lollapalooza Paris to name a few.
Note that the Hippodrome ParisLongchamp reopened in April 2018 after two years of renovations to get like brand-new. Let’s make the best of this occasion and discover the fascinating world of horse races! Let’s go, friends, shall we?
