Every year, with European Heritage Days in Paris, we are invited to discover many places usually closed to the public and exceptionally opening. This edition 2021 is no exception to the rule and beautiful plant lovers will be happy to learn that they can discover the Luxembourg garden greenhouses. For a weekend, let us discover this little secret garden, jealously kept by the French Senate.
At the same time as European Heritage Days at the Palais du Luxembourg, these September 18 and 19, 2021, you are invited to enjoy beautiful bucolic discoveries. The crop growing greenhouses and the collections of the Senate’s garden are unveiled and show a whole collection of fruit trees, tropical plants and orchids. All you need to patiently wait before A Thousand and One Orchids exhibit returns.
Free guided tours are scheduled, and you can chat with the Senate’s gardeners who will answer all your questions. You can also enjoy a walk-exhibition about carpet bedding (the art of creating drawings with flowerbeds). You can discover the six installations nestled in the garden. How can you resist the call for such a beautiful and bucolic tour?
