The Journées du Patrimoine in Paris is the event not to be missed this autumn! A godsend for lovers of the City of Light, who are sure to find something to their liking in the multitude of tours and events on offer.
This year, 2024, theCartier Jewellery Institute joins the program for the 41st edition of the cultural event. The luxury brand, which dates back to 1847, has always been committed to transmitting and perpetuating its know-how of excellence.
To meet its educational needs, in 2002 the Maison opened theInstitut Joaillerie Cartier, which later moved to theHôtel Pinsot, an 18th-century mansion in Paris's ninth arrondissement. A marvellous workshop, incubator of talent and vehicle for the wealth of jewelry knowledge inculcated through a historic artisan apprenticeship, from preceptor to apprentice.
This exceptional opening, on the occasion of the Journées du Patrimoine 2024, invites you to experience an epic journey among treasures and precious stones in a majestic Cartier showcase, right in the heart of Paris' historic jewelry district, on September 21 and 22. Please note that access to the Institut is by reservation only.
On the occasion of the European Heritage Days, Cartier invites you to discover its jewelry-making expertise through a custom-designed tour of its Institut Joaillerie Cartier in Paris. This year, the tour will celebrate the stones that are the starting point of every creation for the House, and give you the chance to talk to the craftsmen whose core business is to sublimate them. You'll also have the opportunity to learn directly from them at the workbench.
