Heritage Days 2024 at the Rambolitrain museum: fun tour and bucolic train ride

Located in Rambouillet, in the Yvelines department , this atypical museum showcases over 4,000 exhibits, with a functional layout stretching for 500 meters!   Home to over 4,000 toy train and model railroad exhibits, Rambolitrain traces the history of the railroads from their earliest days to the present day. Locomotives, wagons, each showcase conceals marvels of toy trains evolving in a particular decor. Fans will have their breath taken away when they enter the cavern of Ali-Baba, a faithful recreation of a 1930s Parisian toy store.
  But visitors are not done with their emotions: on the second floor, an immense network awaits them, with dozens of convoys that children can animate themselves.
