The Journées du Patrimoine are back in Paris and the Île-de-France region this weekend, September 21 and 22, 2024. An opportunity for art lovers to conquer the Musée d'Orsay.

The Journées du Patrimoine (Heritage Days) is an annual event eagerly awaited by cultural enthusiasts, bargain hunters and the curious looking for new discoveries. Over the course of a weekend, Europe's finest heritage treasures are revealed through a superb program ofexceptional openings, free tours,unusual workshops and much more.

How could such an event be imagined without the participation of Paris and the surrounding region? It has to be said that in terms of heritage, the City of Light, like the whole of theÎle-de-France region, has plenty to surprise and amaze us. So,on the weekend of September 21 and 22, 2024, the Paris region will be there!

Why not take this opportunity to discover the secrets of the Musée d'Orsay? Located in the 7th arrondissement of Paris, along the banks of the Seine, this iconic cultural spot is housed in the former Gare d'Orsay, a listed historic monument since 1978. Its famous clock is one of the few remaining vestiges of this past. Here you'll find one of Europe's most important collections of19th-century Western art.
