On the occasion of the Journées du Patrimoine 2024, the Atelier En Mille Morceaux invites you to the Cour des Arts de Vauréal to discover an unusual profession: Médecin des Objets, aka ceramics and glass restorer.
On the program: presentation of the restorer's trade, his role during archaeological missions and his mission as a transmitter of history.
Indeed, the En Mille Morceaux workshop works both for private individuals and in partnership with the CNRS, the Ecole Biblique et Archéologique Française de Jérusalem, the town of Cergy, the National Museum of Qatar...
