Take advantage of theIndian summer in Seine-et-Marne to discover the beautiful landscapes of the French Gâtinais Regional Nature Park. And more specifically, come and visit the town of Blennes and its treasures, on September 22, 2024, during the European Heritage Days.
For this 40th edition of the JEP, we're meeting at theÉglise Saint-Victor, a 13th-century historic monument in the heart of the commune of Blennes. From the church building, a lovely bike ride is offered: we're taking advantage of the Journées du Patrimoine to visit the town's surroundings, and take in the sights!
A Heritage Bike Ride is being organized this September 22, and is open to all sports enthusiasts and the curious. It's an opportunity to get some fresh air and (re)discover this little corner of France with friends and family. Get your bikes and calves ready for a great ride! Note that although this event, which combines history and sport, is free, it is only open to registered participants. Here are all the details of this unique event.
Starting at Saint-Victor church in Blennes, the Communauté de Communes du Pays de Montereau invites you to discover the heritage treasures nestled along the Orvanne river during a bike ride. Throughout the day, we'll cycle through the villages of Blennes, Diant, Voulx and Thoury Ferrottes on a 21km itinerary accessible to all (vtc recommended).
At lunchtime, you'll be offered a gourmet aperitif, but you'll need to bring your own picnic;
6 stages will be proposed to you to discover as many remarkable places with entertainment for all.
Possibility of joining us in the afternoon, departing at 1:30 pm from 37 rue Pasteur (former Voulx station)
The ride ends at 5 pm with the return to Blennes.
And of course, don't forget your helmet and water bottle: safety first!
