For example, you can discover the Musée de la Radiologie et de l'Imagerie Médicale (Museum of Radiology and Medical Imaging), located in the 13th arrondissement of Paris. Usually accessible by appointment only, this little-known site tells thestory of the history and development of radiology over more than a century through its collections.   • Guided tour of the Museum of Radiology
    Saturday September 21, 10.00 am, 11.15 am, 1.00 pm, 2.15 pm, 3.45 pm, 5.00 pm

    During a guided tour, you'll discover how radiology came into being at the end of the 19th century.
    Created from the collections of the Société Française de Radiologie and the Centre Antoine Béclère, the museum boasts over 500 objects, most dating from between 1850 and 1950, before the advent of modern medical imaging. During your guided tour, you'll discover an exceptional collection of vacuum ampoules and X-ray tubes, models of radiology equipment and wax lesion reproductions.
