This weekend, September 16 and 17, 2023, we're putting on our seven-league boots, and heading out to explore the city of Paris. In every arrondissement, monuments, museums, old or curious buildings, private or public places and exceptional sites open their doors to us.
These hundreds of addresses are taking part in the 40th edition of the Journées du Patrimoine. This Europe-wide event invites us to (re)discover all the places that are part of our region's history. Art, culture, politics, religion, know-how: each place tells a little bit about France, and its people.
If you're interested in the history of power, the Journées du Patrimoine are a great way to visit the Elysée Palace, the Houses of Parliament and even the ministries! The Ministry of Sport and the Olympic and Paralympic Games will be waiting for us during this free cultural weekend. Here's what's on during the two days.
