The Heritage Days are an occasion not to be missed. Every year in September, this cultural event features free visits and exceptional openings at fascinating sites. The whole of the Paris region takes part, including the département of Val d'Oise , home to a heritage well worth seeing. For history buffs and lovers of châteaux, this is the perfect opportunity to discover the historic residences that populate the Île-de-France region.
In the department of 95, in the town of Luzarches, you'll find the Château d'Hérivaux, which is taking part in the 41st edition of the Journées du Patrimoine, scheduled for the weekend of September 21 and 22, 2024. The Abbey of Hérivaux once stood here, erected in the 12th century and destroyed after the French Revolution. The guest pavilion of Notre-Dame d'Hérivaux Abbey is the building that can still be admired today, with its 20th-century ornamentation. Discover this site during the Journées du Patrimoine 2024 with a special program this Sunday!
