Founded in 1825, Montmartre Cemetery is the final resting place of many personalities who have left their mark on French and international culture. Located in the heart of the artistic district of Montmartre, this romantic, verdant cemetery is the final resting place of such illustrious figures asEmile Zola, Dalida and Stendhal. As you stroll along its shady alleys, you'll discover graves adorned with majestic sculptures and monuments, bearing witness to the glorious past of this unique place.

Guided tour led by Arnaud Schoonheere, Ph.D. in architectural history and head of the heritage unit of the Paris cemetery department. This tour will provide an opportunity to discover the architect's tombs of the Montmartre cemetery.
The tour will start at the cemetery's main entrance and will last approximately 2 hours.
The Montmartre cemetery is not accessible to people with reduced mobility.
