World Cocoa and Chocolate Day will be celebrated on October 1, 2023. For several years now, this day has paid tribute to all those involved in the cocoa industry, from the harvesting of the cocoa tree to the transformation of this divine bean into a chocolate bar. To mark the occasion, every chocolatier can propose activities around this sweet, on their own initiative, with the encouragement of the Académie Française du Chocolat et de la Confiserie.
As you may already know, in addition to its undeniably good taste, chocolate has many nutritional virtues. Rich in phosphorus, iron, copper and zinc, dark chocolate has the ability to boost morale, lower blood pressure and many other positive attributes (provided you eat it in reasonable doses!).
