Starting from May 11th, hand sanitizer distributors will be set in the streets of Paris, in bus shelters and public restrooms.

To help gradual and safe containment exit in town, as the department is in a red area, and to avoid a second epidemic wave, Paris authorities will set, from May 11th, hand-sanitizer distributors in streets.

So, about 2,000 hand sanitizer distributors will be set in bus shelters and public restrooms, in partnership with the JCDecaux company please to “set this type of solution in record time” described as “pragmatic and solid”.

JCDecaux regional manager Jean-Dominique Hiétin said on BFM that “the first installations will be positioned in Paris starting Monday”.

These distributors, set in 1,500 bus shelters and 435 public restrooms will provide 5 liters of hand sanitizer, up to 3,300 uses. They will be filled regularly and stay on site up to late June: “All in all, about 6.5 million disinfection gestures will be made weekly thanks to these distributors”.

To use them, the distributors will be fit with a metal push-button to push with your elbow, to avoid any coronavirus contamination risk. Jean-Dominique Hiétin explained that “the contact-less technology requires so many electric components it was impossible to supply for the current period” but distributors will be regularly disinfected by the company.
