The French capital is one of the most sought-after locations for the film industry to shoot future blockbusters. Except that, as time goes by, traffic jams are created! To avoid this and open up new possibilities for productions, the TSF group has created its own little Hollywood not far from Paris, in the Seine-et-Marne region, on the grounds of the Coulommiers-Voisins airfield.
Outdoor film studios have sprung up, with 1.5 hectares of larger-than-life sets, including a brasserie, a school, an embassy and a metro station, in the purest style of Haussmann façades. A true reconstruction of the capital!
All you need to do is set up and shoot, in a "turnkey" environment, with 12 different outdoor spaces and the ability to adapt to the demands of any given scenario. No need to block Parisian streets for a scene, here explosions will have no impact on traffic! All buildings are interchangeable, to match different film eras and styles: a café can become a period printing works, a fire station a hospital...
Unique in France, this film studio was built to last, with wooden sets and recyclable materials that should last a good twenty years. A"backlot" already used for an emblematic scene in the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympic Games, as Zidane drove through a traffic jam with the Olympic flame right here! 12 classic studios will be added shortly, to complete the current 30-hectare outdoor offering.
