The Dîner de la Mode, a joint initiative of the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode and Sidaction, took place on Thursday July 6, 2023 at the Pavillon Cambon Capucines. This major event in the fight against AIDS marks its twentieth anniversary this year.
Since its creation in 2003, the Dîner de la Mode has demonstrated the fashion world's unwavering commitment to supporting the fight against AIDS. This year, the dinner took place at the close of Haute Couture Week in Paris, attracting a host of influential figures from fashion, cinema and the media.
Chef Yannick Alléno, a three-star Michelin star, designed the menu for the 20th edition of this gala dinner. The dinner's new visual identity was designed by Mathias Augustyniak and Michael Amzalag of graphic studio M/M (Paris).
The event brought together a host of celebrities, including Professor Françoise Barré-Sinoussi, President of Sidaction and winner of the 2008 Nobel Prize for Medicine; Line Renaud, Vice-President of Sidaction; Jean Paul Gaultier, Sidaction ambassador; and Bruno Pavlovsky, President of the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode. Thanks to the mobilization of celebrities, the Dîner de la Mode raised 726,000 euros in 2022.
Since 2003, the Dîner de la Mode has raised over eleven million euros to support scientific, medical and HIV prevention research programs, as well as associations helping people living with HIV in France and abroad. Now, more than ever, we must continue to mobilize to roll back the HIV epidemic.
