In 2024, there were many gourmet competitions. After the prize for the best flan, the best butter croissant, the best organic bread, the best pain au chocolat and the best patisserie in the City of Paris, there was the "Hauts-de-Seine Signature " log competition - in other words, the competition for the best 2024 log in the département!
The idea is simple: to showcase the talent and expertise of the Hauts-de-Seine's artisan bakers, patissiers and chocolatiers in the run-up to Christmas.
Organized by the Chambre de Métiers et de l'Artisanat d'Île-de-France des Hauts-de-Seine, in partnership with the Département des Hauts-de-Seine, this first edition of the "Signature des Hauts-de-Seine " 2024 log competition was an opportunity for participating craftsmen to push back the limits of their creativity by imagining an original pastry log. The log had to embody the " perfect blend of tradition and innovation, while showcasing local raw materials ".
After smelling, observing and tasting the various creations, the jury reached its verdict, unveiling the three winning bakeries on social networks on December 11. They are Ô Gourmandises d'Ange in Puteaux, Clem & Gwen in Clichy and Stéphane Moa in Puteaux.
The jury's decision was based on the originality and creativity of the log's design, as well as its taste, aesthetics, presentation and use of local produce.
