Following the introduction of the Zone à Trafic Limité in the heart of Paris, the restriction of access to Crit'Air 3 vehicles and the reduction of the speed limit on the Périphérique, the capital is preparing to pursue measures in favor of its ecological transition, notably by limiting the role of the car in Paris. This Wednesday, January 15, 2025, as she presented her new year's greetings to the capital's elected representatives, Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo expressed her determination for the end of her term of office, and her desire to accelerate her projects before stepping down in the next municipal elections.
On this occasion, the Mayor of Paris shared some of her objectives for2025, including the completion of 120 pedestrianization and greening projects across the capital. The new year should also bring its share of transformations in the capital, with more pedestrianized streets and green spaces. Measures which, on the contrary, reduce the role of the automobile in Paris.
