Another Fête de la musique! Once again this year, French music fans will be able to enjoy a wide range of musical delights, from rock and rap to blues, jazz, world music, metal, classical music, electro and French variety.
The Fête de la Musique was launched in France in 1982 under the impetus of Jack Lang, Minister of Culture at the time, Christian Dupavillon, architect-scenographer, and Maurice Fleuret, appointed Director of Music and Dance a few months earlier. At the time, the objective was clear: to enable the vast number of amateur musicians to express themselves and make a name for themselves.
For more than 40 years now, the Fête de la Musique has been held across France every June 21, giving rise to a host of musical delights.
But with so many concerts and dj sets to choose from, it's not always easy to find your way around. So, if you're a fan of electronic music, you might like the following. On Friday June 21, 2024, to celebrate the 42nd anniversary of the Fête de la Musique, the Mazette is getting into the spirit of the occasion with an ultra-festive electro evening (free before midnight) to be enjoyed on the rooftop and in the Main Room, as well as on the Seine during two exclusive cruises!
Le Mazette celebrates music on June 21, 2024 with a festive program accessible from 6pm and free before midnight. On the menu? 12 hours of non-stop sound and party, on five stages, including two exclusive cruises on the Seine up to the Eiffel Tower. For football fans, the French team's Euro match will be broadcast for the occasion.
The event is free before midnight and chargeable afterwards. Book your tickets here!
